One
of the measures is the establishment of a phone line to help with emergencies
and questions related to Covid 19, available 24 hours a day. We have also
implemented visits from social workers and doctors to our collaborators homes
to receive prevention counselling, self-care instructions and to share supplies
with them. Another one of the initiatives is to supply, once a week, with
essential supplies for the household (food, medicines and others) of our warriors
who are working in-person even in such a difficult situation like this one,
having us to assume a percentage of the costs and handling the orders delivery.
The purpose of this is to help to reduce the walks outside and the exposure to
contagion.
In
addition, taking under consideration the importance of our personnel and of
their families health, we have given them the option to access to an EPS, wich
provides coverage for Covid-19 cases. This allows them to receive attention
with no wait time period.
On
the other hand, we know that overweight is a national predicament, therefore we
have implemented personalized nutritional counseling for our collaborators at
the operations plant with a BMI (Body Mass Index) higher than 30. This way, we
manage that they are in the best condition to work healthily in their
positions. The “Hayduk Challenge”, aimed to those who are working in offices
and those who are doing remote work from home due to the sanitary emergency,
provides access to nutritionists that are trained to suggest new habits, to set
up meal plans for each personal need, in addition to be competent to schedule
online sessions of training and workout routines. We have met the goal of
having our warriors and their families participation from home; doing a constant
follow up of the results progress required by the government.
For
the first fishing season, all the crew members before the journey are kept
isolated in hotels, where the meals and other needs are assumed 100% by the
company. We perform molecular and antibody testing to all of them to guarantee
their optimal health.
In Hayduk Corporation we are aware that in order to
improve it is important to take care of each other. We will continue with the
commitment of respecting the security guidelines and to implement new
initiatives to protect all our warriors their physical integrity and
well-being.
